Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Khatkhati

It is a co-educational English medium school, established under the auspices of the Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari- a Spiritually Oriented Service Mission. The seed of the ‘Vidyalaya’ was sown in the soil of Sarumanthi-Kachari Gaon, Khatkhati, Bokajan immediately after the foundation of the Vivekananda Kendra on the Living Rock Memorial of Swami Vivekananda at Kanyakumari. A Weaving and Tailoring: learning - cum training Centre was started initially and soon a Project with the title “Vivekananda Kendra Rural Welfare Project, Khatkhati” was constituted in 1986 under the parental organization “Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari”.
